Ferrari Challenge, Racing Days take over South Florida

The month of May is a busy time of racing in the city of Miami, which hosted Formula 1 on May 4 and now welcomes Ferrari Challenge North America from May 16-18. 

Not only does Miami International Autodrome host the third round of Ferrari Challenge in 2025, but Ferrari aficionados will descend on the circuit for the annual Ferrari Racing Days celebration.

Magic City

For the first time in Ferrari Challenge history, the one-make series will compete at the racing course wrapped around Hard Rock Stadium. The location has been a staple on the F1 calendar since 2022 but is now opening its doors on additional weekends to series like Ferrari Challenge – and its nearly 70 cars on the entry list – for the first time.

Fans onsite will enjoy performances by the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders and marching band, a helicopter flyover, and a fireworks display prior to the first green flag on Saturday. 

Miami is also a springboard to welcome FAGE Yogurt as a sponsor for Ferrari Challenge North America, in addition to acknowledging the Richard Mille Fastest Lap of the Day at race podiums and expanding the track presence of Chivas Regal – a partner of Ferrari’s since 2024.

Ferrari Racing Days

A monumental event deserves a monumental stage. This year’s Ferrari Racing Days will take place at Miami International Autodrome, featuring a thrilling 2.8-mile “Extended Marina Loop” and showcasing over 130 Ferraris inside Hard Rock Stadium for the largest Car Corral in Ferrari Challenge North America history.

As part of the Sport Prototipi Clienti program, modern 499P Modificatas will be joined by a Ferrari F2004 previously run by Michael Schumacher and a Ferrari F138 that Felipe Massa piloted. Nearly 25 cars have signed up for the XX Program, featuring the FXX Evo, FXX K and FXX-K Evo models. 

Club Challenge and Club Competizioni GT participants will also get their turn around the Miami circuit throughout the weekend.

South Florida Welcomes Ferrari

While Ferrari Challenge recently visited Daytona International Speedway in April, the upcoming weekend’s event in Miami is even closer to home for several teams.

The Collection brings six entries, including the current Trofeo Pirelli points leader and 2024 champion, Dylan Medler. Rey Acosta and Rafael Duran will represent The Collection in the Trofeo Pirelli Am class, with William Naranjo in Coppa Shell and Alberto Duran and Fabian Sperman in Coppa Shell Am. 

Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale follows with three entries all in Trofeo Pirelli Am, run by Omar Balkissoon, Matthew Diehl and Dan Magnuszewski. 

Melissa Kozyra also represents Ferrari of Naples in her Coppa Shell Am Ferrari. 

Schedule and streaming

Two testing days precede official on-track activity at Miami International Autodrome, which begins on Friday, May 16, with three practice sessions throughout the day.

Qualifying for Race 1 takes place on Saturday morning at 8:45am ET prior to the green flag later in the day at 3:30pm for Trofeo Pirelli and 5pm for Coppa Shell. Qualifying 2 starts Sunday’s action at 8:35am, with Coppa Shell’s final race at 2:40pm and Trofeo Pirelli at 4:10pm.
